Münster

Münster is a 4-page silent comic that originally had a photo-copied cover on black construction paper; now it is collected in Polite Fiction #1. This comic was a class assignment for The Center for Cartoon Studies. We had to make a story inspired by a reference book we brought into class. With our eyes closed, our fingers pointed to three areas of the book, which became the inspirations for the comic’s plot points and page turns. My reference book was titled “Medieval Architecture,” and my comic was inspired by “unlit space,” “square,” and “Münster Cathedral.”
